It's not all beer and skittles, army is, but I made friends, with Adeline, Tranche Montagne and others, but the colonel La Houlette of my regiment is seriously getting on my nerves. He fancies himself a sp茅cialiste de nuque, and constantly goes around, screaming "jolie nuque", "Quelle nuque!" and "Oh la nuque!", and it is really annoying, yet he is my commanding officer, what should I do?|||Wear white for God's sake! Labor Day has passed after all and that should get his feather's ruffled. Vive La France!|||Suck it up.
If you say anything you'll get into a serious amount of trouble. He's a commanding officer and you would be seen as being insubordinate. If you just keep your head down you might get a chance to transfer :)
But honestly there's always going to be another Colonel La Houlette.|||Perhaps le colonel is measuring you with his eyes for la guillotine.
