Actually Dolly Parton wrote%26amp; used to sing this song at the closing of The Dolly Parton Show.But,she used to before that be on The Porter Wagnor Show. She wrote it for him,because she was leaving the show.She new she was going to miss being on his show,%26amp; that he mentored her,%26amp; that was her way of showing her appriciation.
